Something funny happened to me when I was away last weekend for a friend’s wedding … People were stunned still at the sight of my latex leggings. You see, the wedding was in West Virginia and apparently the whole latex trend hasn’t made it over there yet. To me, they are my “comfortable” clothes. You know, like sweats?!
Anyway, I think latex leggings are a brilliant and magical piece of clothing. They are stylish and give you the look of leather pants … But they are so much better than leather pants because they are a.) cheaper and b.) easier to get on and off.
Alright, enough about the pros of latex leggings, if you are reading this blog you probably already know that they are cool. The real question is, did you know that such a thing as a latex skirt exists? I didn’t know until about 10 minutes ago and now I must own one. I love the idea of pairing it with a loose fitting white tee and a blazer, something unexpected and a little bit casual. You don’t want to go too crazy with it or else you will end up looking like a street walker. Street walker isn’t chic. Now street walked inspired, that’s a different story.
