Since this is the first post, we want to take this opportunity to share a little background on Manhattanite and the owner, Jeanette Silvestri.

• Jeanette’s always had a passion, or should we say obsession, for shopping and style. In launching Manhattanite, she wanted to create a one-stop shopping destination for women’s apparel, accessories and other must-haves.
• Manhattanite caters to a variety of customers including teens, twenty-something trendsetters, executives and stay-at-home moms, among others. To help guide shopping experiences for different lifestyles and personalities, we added a “Shop by Lifestyle” section (makes gift giving a breeze).
• Fun facts about Jeanette: She’s obsessed with Siwy jeans and Fluxus tees (own every style/color). For her, it feels like Christmas every time new shipments arrive.
